Gallery Links: ![]() Enrique Iglesias dropped out of the upcoming Britney Spears concert tour because his ego couldn’t handle being her opening act … multiple sources connected with the tour tell TMZ. We’re told lawyers and agents for Britney and Enrique were hammering out an agreement for weeks, and the terms were finessed to make Enrique appear to be a co-headliner. We’re told both sides agreed to the deal and that’s why the announcement was made Tuesday. But just hours before Britney’s camp went public, Enrique was burning up the phone lines and the Internet, engaging various people connected with the tour in lengthy conversations in which he made it clear — he was, in reality, Britney’s opening act and he wanted out. One source says the deal was actually very favorable to Enrique … “great terms and great placement.” But we’re told it all came down to taking the stage before Brit — too much to handle.
![]() It’s a big day for Britney Spears fans – and confusing. The singer’s seventh album, Femme Fatale, is officially out and Spears announced a summer co-headlining tour with Enrique Iglesias during her pre-taped appearance on Good Morning America, which aired Tuesday. It turns out she was half right. First, Billboard.com reported that Iglesias had pulled out of Spears’s summer tour. Then a rep for Iglesias said that that despite “initial reports” based on “formal discussions” the pair would possibly tour together, Iglesias is now continuing on his own for his new album Euphoria. “Enrique has great respect for Britney and is a longtime fan of her work,” the rep says. “He is very sorry for the confusion this might have caused to anyone.” Spears’s trek is scheduled to kick off on June 17 in Sacramento, Calif., and wraps up Aug. 13 in Toronto. For a full list of tour dates, visit the pop star’s official Web site. (or below) In addition to her tour announcement, the pop star also performed several new songs on GMA, including “Till the World Ends” and her hit “Hold It Against Me,” during the mini-concert, which was taped at San Francisco’s Bill Graham Civic Auditorium over the weekend.
![]() Oops, Britney Spears has done it again – she’s thrilled a packed house of fans. The pop starlet, 29, took to the Palms Casino Resort’s Rain Nightclub stage in Las Vegas Friday night, previewing three of her new songs from her upcoming Femme Fatale album, which will hit shelves on Tuesday. During a 45-minute set that included three short breaks for costume and stage changes – during which Jersey Shore’s Pauly D, resident DJ for the Palms, kept the crowd of about 1,500 warmed up – Spears performed “Hold It Against Me,” “Big Fat Bass” and “Till The World Ends.” Spears did little talking to the crowd during the mini concert, asking only, “What’s up, Vegas? How you guys feeling? You guys having a good night?” The performance was being filmed for an MTV special, to air next week in conjunction with the release of the album. In her first public performance since her successful Circus tour in 2009, Spears appeared on stage in front of a prop electric chair while singing “Hold It Against Me.” With her boyfriend, Jason Trawick, and father, Jamie Spears, looking on from a VIP area, she later appeared inside an oversized boombox during the “Big Fat Bass” number, outfitted in a tight black outfit and policeman’s cap. To wrap up the show, Spears sang “Till The World Ends,” dressed in a one-piece brassiere with her breasts highlighted by blinking red lights. Moving to the tune beside her backup dancers, Spears walked up to an elevated steel beam, dancing to the song before fireworks, then Spears raised her arms to signify the end of the performance. ![]() BRITNEY SPEARS IN AN EXCLUSIVE LATE NIGHT PERFORMANCE ON ABC’s “JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE!” TUESDAY, MARCH 29 Wake Up And Go To Bed With Britney on ABC Britney Spears comes to ABC’s “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” for an exclusive late night performance TUESDAY, MARCH 29 at MIDNIGHT, to coincide with the release of her album Femme Fatale, out the same day.
