Britney Spears’ parents reconciled after their 8 long years of divorce.

Popstar Britney has not commented yet on this report. At a Los Angeles club, her parents were seen dancing together to remixes of her hits “Toxic” and “Gimme Moore” on Saturday. Quoting a source close to the matter as saying: “They are back together and are doing well and happy”.

The source said the pair has not remarried. Brtitney Spears’ parents’ marriage lasted 30 years. James “Jamie” Spears has been in legal control of her financial affairs since she was hospitalized in 2008 for psychiatric observation.

Brtiney has rebounded and rebuilt an image despite the ugly episodes of her life. Many people
thought tha she was forever tarnished by rehabilitation stints for substance abuse, excessive partying and a now-infamous head-shaving incident from 2007.

Britney Spears’ comeback is on a steady track with appearances on ‘Glee’, a successful tour run, and an endorsement deal with Elizabeth Arden, putting her at No. 3 on Forbes’ list of Hollywood’s highest-earning womenwith $64 million.

Britney Spears has been dating Jason Trawick, her former agent, since 2009.

TMZ reports that Judge Reva Goetz had requested a meeting with the pop star after the judge had discussed ending the conservatorship with Spears’ lawyers at the last few status meetings.

Spears’ father, Jamie Spears, was also present in the judge’s chambers during the progress meeting. He left the courtroom minutes after Britney, who wore a black dress and black ankle boots.

It was decided that Spears would remain under her conservatorship, according to TMZ. The judge took the stand to announce: “At this time, all orders will remain in full force and effect.” The decision came after she met with Spears and her father individually. The judge did give the OK to approve “investment strategies” for Britney’s trust; a petition had been filed regarding that matter.

While there seems to be no change in Spears’ personal life, she has certainly been a force to be reckoned with since she released her 2008 album Circus. She’s managed to once again top the charts, mount a successful tour and even try her hand at acting. This week alone she brought some star power to “Glee,” which tackled her hit-filled catalog, including “Me Against the Music.”

Much has been rumored about what Spears is working on as far as a follow-up to Circus. After it was reported that Spears might release new music sometime this year, her manager, Adam Leber, was quick to clear the air.

“No new music news right now….Wish people wouldn’t mislead you guys with BS info,” he wrote on Twitter in August. “Not cool! PS- The guys that ARE working on Brit’s next album ARE NOT talking about it…”

With no end in sight to Britney Spears’ conservatorship, we’ve learned there’s one person who could set the ball in motion — and that’s Britney herself.

Britney’s conservatorship — which was created in February 2008 — shows no signs of ending. The conservators have not filed a petition to end it and there are no indications, based on our sources, that it’s wrapping up any time soon.

But we did a little checking and it turns out … Britney herself can ask the judge to end the conservatorship. Before that happens, the judge would have to satisfy herself that Brit essentially was capable of making decisions for herself and her kids.

But if Britney were to request an end to it, we’re told the judge would take the request seriously. That doesn’t mean the conservatorship would automatically end, but the judge would almost certainly re-evaluate it.

As we first reported … there are really two conservatorships at play — the one over Britney’s person and the other over her financial affairs. Our sources say Britney has no interest in ending the latter.

As for whether Britney wants to end the conservatorship over her person … we’re told she runs hot and cold. Fact is … daddy Jamie Spears has given her a lot of freedom this year, so it’s not like she’s living in a ball ‘n chain world.

But the taste of freedom … a little scary.

Britney Spears could be set to regain control of her affairs from her father Jamie now her ‘Circus’ tour has ended.

Britney Spears’ conservatorship could end soon.

The 28-year-old singer’s father Jamie Spears – who was made co-conservator of her personal and professional affairs after her public breakdown in 2008 – has met with lawyers and wants a judge to review the conditions of the agreement now Britney’s ‘Circus’ tour has ended.

According to gossip website TMZ, there have been “several lengthy meetings recently between the lawyers and the court commissioner in the commissioner’s chambers”.Although they’ve met with the judge, Jamie and Britney’s lawyers cannot decide whether or not the conservator ship ends.

Instead, a “capacity expert” – a court-appointed psychiatrist – will evaluate Britney and submit his results to the court commissioner.

While Britney could soon be in control of her personal life, her business interests are likely to be protected for longer.

TMZ reported: “There are actually two conservator ships – one over Britney, the person, and the other over Britney’s business affairs. We’re told the business conservator ship will likely continue. The issue on the table is whether to end the conservator ship over Britney, the person. Again, no decisions have been made, but it’s all moving in that direction.”

Pop diva Britney Spears has dismissed Courtney Love’s claims that she was molested by her father Jamie as a girl.
Reps for Britney and her father are brushing off Love”s claims she made on her Facebook page. According to a London newspaper, a female member of the Spears family contends she can back up Love”s allegation. However, Spears spokeswoman Louise Taylor denies anyone in the family is talking.

“We”re not commenting on Courtney Love, or any aliens who might come to Earth to impregnate people,” the New York Daily News quoted Taylor as saying.
Love had written on her Facebook page:

“Britneys dad molested her, imagine the father that molested you owning you for slavery while your forced to sing songs picked for their sexual content every night, insane right?”

Pop princess Britney Spears is set to splash out on a new soul food restaurant in Los Angeles which she wants her father to run. The ‘Toxic’ singer is keen for her father Jamie Spears, who was made co-conservator of her personal and professional affairs following her public breakdown last year, to run the new eatery.

“Britney just wanted to give him something useful as a sign of her appreciation. After all their ups and downs she knows he’s always got her best interests at heart,” a source said. Spears who opened her ill-fated New York restaurant Nyla in 2002 plans to serve soul food at the Los Angeles eatery. Soul food is popular in the southern states of US and includes dishes such as fried chicken, barbecued ribs, black eyed peas and sweet potato.

Earlier this month, it was revealed Jamie wants a judge to review the conditions of the conservatorship agreement when the singer’s ‘Circus’ world tour concludes in November. “Jamie can’t ask the judge to end it-just to review it. The judge then decides if Britney should regain control of her life,” the source said. Jamie thinks that the singer, who currently has shared custody of her two children with ex-husband Kevin Federline, Sean Preston, three, and two-year-old Jayden James, is now strong enough to look after herself.
