The singer admitted that she was huge fan of Houston and was shocked by the news of her death.

“I was the biggest fans of hers,” she told CNN at the Grammy Awards. “She influenced me so much growing up and it’s really devastating and shocking, really shocking.”

X Factor judge LA Reid added: “When you’re as good as Whitney, when you’re the gold standard of singing, you impress so many people, you influence so many people.

“There will be many, many singers from now who will be impacted and influenced by Whitney Houston.”

It was recently reported that fans of Houston have been urged by police to stay away from her funeral this weekend.

Words are, Britney has agreed to pay Brand Sense Partners. The gossip site claimed that the 30-year-old, who has gotten engaged to longtime boyfriend Jason Trawick in December 2011, paid the beauty company commissions for a period of years as well as a lump sum. The financial terms of the settlement, however, are being kept private.

Brand Sense Partners accused Britney and her father Jamie Spears of fraud, deceit and breach of contract back in 2011. The company filed their suit in Los Angeles Superior Court in March, claiming the father and daughter duo robbed it of its commission from “any and all products” the singer worked on with Elizabeth Arden, including her Radiance fragrance.

The “Hold It Against Me” hitmaker was also accused of making “a separate deal with Elizabeth Arden in a sneaky underhanded effort to circumvent and evade its obligations to Brand Sense.” Brand Sense also noted in its suit that Jamie was caught “red handed” acknowledging the deal, but then “complained that the commission was too high and said that Britney did not want to pay it.”

Neither Madonna nor Britney’s reps have answered any questions regarding the track.

This wouldn’t be the first time the two hot bixches have collaborated, with Madonna appearing on Britney’s 2003 release, In The Zone, for “Me Against The Music” – then later collaborating locking lips at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards and Britney appearing on video during Madonna’s Hard Candy tour for “Human Nature.”

While his condition was originally thought to be serious, after a series of tests Federline was given the all-clear and discharged from hospital.

After returning home to recover with his family, K-Fed visited a cardiologist for a check-up today.

A spokesman for the reality show told the Herald Sun: ‘Excess Baggage contestant Kevin Federline has been given the all-clear after spending the day in medical care.’

‘Kevin and producers became concerned with his extreme pulse rate and abnormal heart beat during a week six challenge of the program. The program medic took the action of calling an ambulance so that a hospital could assess his well-being.

‘After more tests, he was released late last night.’

It was thought Federline might have to pull out of the fat camp reality show after the health scare, but K-Fed seemed confident all was well after his check-up.

Seemingly brushing aside the scare, he told waiting photographers in Sydney that he was ‘all good’ and ‘ready to win’ the programme.

The spokesman said Federline was expected to return to filming the programme this Friday.

When your parents are Britney Spears and Kevin Federline, it’s a given that dancing skills are going to be in your DNA.

The ex-couple’s six-year-old son, Sean Preston, proved that he’s following in his famous parents’ footsteps by performing an elaborate dance routine to Peaches & Herb’s hit song, Shake Your Groove Thing.

The 30-year-old pop star’s son perfectly mimicked the moves of the avatar in a dance-related video game he was playing.

He was so into shaking his moneymaker that he was decidedly displeased when he was interrupted by his little brother.

When five-year-old Jayden James tried to get in on the action, Sean pushed his sibling (and his tricycle) away from the television screen.

Britney posted the cute video herself yesterday on Twitter just days after posting fun photographs of her sons playing on a trampoline and attending gymnastics classes.

She was clearly proud of her eldest child, writing: ‘Preston getting his groove on!!’

The Womanizer singer has been performing elaborate dance routines herself professionally since 1998 as the opening act for ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake’s former band, ‘N Sync.

She wed backup dancer Kevin Federline in October of 2004, but the pair filed for divorce less than two years later.

She is now engaged to agent Jason Trawick, who proposed over the holiday season.

The pair are said to be planning a low-key ceremony for the nuptials, favouring the idea of a traditional, Southern-style country wedding.

According to US reports, Britney and Jason will be shunning the typical Hollywood wedding in favour of a small family celebration, possible in her hometown of Kentwood, Louisiana.
